The Willamette River Greenway Boundary depicts an area adjacent to the Willamette River mainstem within which Statewide Planning Goal 15 applies. See OAR 660-015-0005 for additional information. The Greenway Boundary was initially digitized from aerial photographic prints provided by Oregon Dept. of Transportation onto which the Greenway Boundary had been manually delineated, and has been modified since then at the direction of local planning jurisdictions. There is a statutory description of the Greenway Boundary (see ORS Chapter 390.318) of 150 feet from the ordinary low water line on each side of the river, but also including other lands such as established parks and natural areas. The Greenway Boundary is shown on comprehensive plan diagrams and zoning maps. |
